People are the heart of any business, more so at Louis Allen Worldwide. Why? Because we help people and organizations change. Nothing requires more heart.

Liz Steblay, MBA — United States

Liz Steblay is a principal consultant in organizational change consulting at Louis Allen Worldwide and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a solid background in organizational development, Liz has over 16 years of experience in maximizing organizational effectiveness for Fortune 500 companies, particularly in leading global change initiatives in the roll-out of new technology and processes. Liz’s focus is on creating effective change strategies and plans while assisting both client and consultant staff with the implementation of those plans. Specifically, Liz is particularly good at formulating practical change strategies, facilitating cross-functional buy-in and collaboration, creating/directing high-performing teams, and working with executives to solidify sponsorship and create effective program leadership.

Prior to joining Louis Allen Worldwide, Liz was founder and principal consultant at the Organizational Change Network where she completed numerous projects for Fortune 1000 companies in a variety of industries. She has partnered with large system integration consulting firms to bring a more complete approach to those significant implementation efforts.

“We brought Liz into a quite challenging situation. A couple of months after bringing her in to help with our Oracle implementation, we went through a merger that caused us to switch from Oracle to SAP and dismiss the other consulting firm. The next few months were stressful as we simultaneously managed both a merger integration effort and the SAP deployment. Then, about 8 weeks before go-live, we had a major restructuring in which we lost nearly all of our local leadership, whole sections of the company were moved out of state, and half our team were given transition notices. It was nearly impossible to get people here to focus on the upcoming changes but somehow Liz pulled it off – we had a very smooth launch despite all the recent upheavals. Liz’s change management consulting fees were definitely money well spent!”
— Steve Ebel, Director of Program Management, Kyphon/Medtronic

“I hired Liz to help with a project that was going to dramatically impact the way people did their work. She worked alongside me not only as my change management resource but also as my de facto assistant project manager, working with me to solidify executive sponsorship and build the necessary cross-functional buy-in. Liz made the difference between resistance and pain and having people ready and willing. I would never do a major project without having a change management expert like Liz as part of the team.”
— Sally MacDonald, Director: Finance Business Process Transformation, Network Appliance

“When our client decided to bring in their own independent change management consultant I had concerns about their experience and ability to implement a full transformation program like we can in our Global Consulting Organization. It did not take long for Liz to eliminate any concerns that I had. In fact, I continue to seek her out for support that I can use with my current clients.”
— Juan Gaytan, Principal

“I first worked with Liz ten years ago when we were both at PwC Consulting, then again a few years later at Levi Strauss. She is by far the most talented org change practitioner with whom I have ever worked; I look forward to partnering with her again.”
— Ron Claude, Director, Clarkston Consulting Group

A true consultant at heart, over the years Liz has worked as both an internal consultant (at Levi Strauss and Intuit) and as an external consultant (at PriceWaterhouse, PwC Consulting and the Organizational Change Network). She has a B.S. and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a red Ducati from Italy.
