JP's consulting expertise is in business strategy development and implementation as well as in large-scale organization change. He was a member of the consulting team that designed and implemented Jack Welch's famous WorkOut program at GE.
He has worked for clients in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia: General Electric, Colgate-Palmolive, Pepsico, Frito-Lay, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Joy Mining, Citibank, Varco International, DHL Systems, Lucent Technologies, Kellogg.
JP was CEO of NorthPole, Inc., a $200M+ manufacturer of camping equipment, with operations in Asia and customers such as Wal*Mart, Target, K-mart, and Dick's Sporting Goods.
Prior to consulting and business, JP was a member of the faculty at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where he taught management, leadership, and organization design.
He has a PhD from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and he has a BS in Industrial Management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
